Party Season Fashion with Missguided

Party Season Fashion with Missguided

Hey girls,

I’m enjoying my Sunday off after a busy Black Friday weekend in work – us ladies love a bargain, don’t we?!

Well the Christmas party season has definitely started, there were so many work parties on everyone’s Snapchat stories last night 🙈  If yours is still to come or you’re just on the look out for something nice to wear over Christmas, this post is for you!

I’ve picked my favourite five party dresses from Missguided’s collection this week. Shopping online is so handy when you’re working or studying full time and don’t have the chance to get out to the shops for a proper look. Missguided offer 48hr delivery to Ireland for just €4 or if you spend over €60, it’s free! If you’re really in a rush the next day Ireland delivery option is €10 when you order before 1pm from Monday-Thursday. All of their delivery options are explained here.missguided-logo-large

The first dress I picked is this blazer style dress with gold button details. This is very Balmain inspired and super chic. It comes in a 3/4 length sleeve version too but I think this sleeveless version is really versatile. You could wear it during the day time over tights and a polo neck sleeved jumper so you could get two look for one with this dress.image

I’m in love with this khaki bodycon midi dress. The bust has an embroidered detail which I think is really different and in this colour, the detail is really accentuated. This could be styled really classic with a 3/4 length coat and a little clutch bag or play with colours in your accessories for a young look. It’s also available in a red and a nude version, whichever one takes your fancy.image

The next dress is sort of futuristic. This grey crepe dress is really different and with some gunmetal silver look jewellery it would look really striking. The only thing I would change about it is the length. Obviously it would look different than on the model here but you should finish your hem at the dimple in your knee. This trick will make your leg look longer and slimmer and give the illusion of a taller silhouette.image

Lace has made a huge comeback this year. Some people think it’s a bit old fashioned but it can actually be quite elegant looking. This red midi dress features lace sleeves, so if you’re not a fan of your arms, like me, this could be a winner for you. The rich colour is also really seasonal.image

Finally I’ve chosen this black velvet LBD which is chic and effortless. Literally pop it on with killer heels and you’re good to go – I definitely wouldn’t overdo it with accessories here. Create the drama with your make up instead and keep your outfit simplistic for a really stylish look.image

Missguided have some great deals up until Monday night for Cyber Monday so I wouldn’t pass up their offers as you could get a real bargain, their clothes are cheap as chips to begin with anyway!

Happy Shopping Dolls!
