The month of March absolutely flew away on me so I’m back today with my Hot Commodities for April. This series of blog posts is literally like my own wish list so I include everything that I’m lusting for, whether it’s from the high street or the luxury goods that I can only dream about, providing a little bit of inspiration for you all 😋
Shoes: I am a REAL shoe girl at heart, like the saying goes “Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world”. So they always seem to be a constant on my wish lists, a new pair each time 🙊 This month I’m making it my mission to track down a particular pair of Adidas Superstars. I could just be normal and buy a pair of the normal white and black Superstars but nooo, I need to find myself the Vulc Adv womens ones! Unlike the usual ones that have a big gold Adidas logo on the tongue and white logo on the heel, these are the opposite way around and I just think they’re so much classier 🙈 I know it’s a minor detail but it’s bugging me to death and they’re sold out of every single site online. Can any trainer fanatics help me; were they a limited edition perhaps?! Leave a comment if you can help me out 😏
Make Up: Oh my God, everything from the new summer collection by Urban Decay falls into this category!! They recently held an event for Ireland’s top bloggers and a lot of the girls featured the products on their Snapchats and social media pages during the night which I was only drooling over. The packaging is stunning; I love the palm tree print on the ‘Beached Bronzer’ and the bronze metallic colours they used on the ‘Primer Potion’ looks divine. I’m generally a fan of UD products and I’ve been meaning to buy one of their Naked concealers for a little while. The new darker shades of it would be perfect for cream contouring with easy application by the little wand.
Handbags: I’m just so in love with this Saint Laurent bag, it’s not even funny! I think it’s a really classic statement bag with the monogram on the front on the quilted detailing all over it. I’m a firm believer that if you invest in handbags and shoes, you can build a great wardrobe around those with high street clothes. The Matelasse Shoulder bag is only €2,500, I’ll have two please!!! 😂😂😂😂 If it’s good enough for Gigi, right?!
Gadget: Ellen from Waxperts showed the StylPro Makeup Brush Cleaner on her Snapchat story a while back and I’ve been dying for one ever since. Basically, it’s a motorised gadget that you hold your make up brush with and in a bowl of water and their StylPro brush cleaner you let the gadget spin your brush around, cleaning it and removing all the manky old make up. You then move the brush out of the water and the brush will dry out as it spins around. Washing my brushes is one of those jobs I try to avoid and it’s so bad because we should be washing them weekly, if not more realistically! The StylPro makes it look so easy but the catch was that it’s only available to buy in the UK, (Ellen got hers at a Beauty Trade Show in London). I was devastated and so joined their mailing list so I’d find out when international delivery is available.. Low and behold, I got an email this week to say that there’s an Irish stockist – Omeya Day Spa in Bangor, Co. Down will have them in stock this week so I’m all over that!!!
Premium Fashion: There are so many pieces that I’m lusting for from Missguided’s newly launched Premium Range! The collection consists of heavily embellished mini dresses with long sleeves, statement heels and some gorgeous floor length gowns that would be ideal for a ball or debs! This navy multi way dress really stood out for me though. I’ve already worn the Eliza & Ethan original multi way dress but I love the slinky skirt on the Misguided version and the navy colour looks so rich!
Love, Denise x
