#KindBloggerBoss Breakfast with Cocoa Brown

#KindBloggerBoss Breakfast with Cocoa Brown

Welcome back to my blog dolls,

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of attending an event that the lovely ladies at Cocoa Brown had organised. Recently they announced the launch of their Kind Range which is a step in a new direction for the beauty brand. The Kind range currently consists of a shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which were launched with their Self-Tanning Wipes earlier this year in a travel size kit – so handy for gals on the go! But yesterday we celebrated the launch of the shampoo and conditioner’s 200ml bottles in Penney’s stores nationwide.Cocoa-Brown-Kind-Collection-200ml-898x1024

What is it about the products that makes them kind, I hear you ask? Well the cleansing agent in them comes from natural sources, coconut oil and fruit sugars. Everyone knows at this stage just how healthy coconut oil is for us and our hair and bodies so the combination of those 3 ingredients gives a deep cleanse while remaining gentle to your scalp, hair and extensions. The PH level in the products is also quite low so it won’t upset your tan. It’s an all rounder and will be suitable for you if you have a sensitive scalp, skin condition, coloured hair or hair extensions. It smells uh-maaazing too with Cocoa Brown’s signature peach and tahitian gardenia scent subtly noted.

Our Goodie Bags

I had recently bought and tried out the shampoo and I have to say, I was blown away by how good the product is and for such a great price too at just €3.50 for the 200ml bottle. While my first impressions are great, I want to trial both the shampoo and conditioner for another while before I give you guys a full review πŸ˜‰IMG_2341

The #KindBloggerBoss breakfast took place in the super cool surroundings of Penney’s Head Quarters in Dublin’s city centre. I had never been to Penneys HQ before so that in itself was exciting for me. In college, so many of my lecturers have mentioned how good Penneys’ graduate scheme is and to be fair, their HQ looks like a great place to work!!

There was a section cordoned off for the Cocoa Brown event and it was set up so nicely. Our pink goodies were lined up neatly on the table in front of a stunning breakfast buffet consisting of mini salad bowls, fresh fruit skewers, protein balls and kale and cucumber smoothies. There was so much detail in all the food, it was almost too pretty to eat – Almost!!! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚

There was such a mix of bloggers in attendance too. I got to catch up with some familiar faces and made acquaintances with some new ladies that I hadn’t met before. A couple of us commented on how surreal it is to finally meet people in the flesh that you’ve been following online through their blogs or social media. You almost forget that you haven’t met face-to-face and you’re like ‘Do I introduce myself..?!’ or what’s the best thing to do πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The chats soon got flowing and the time absolutely flew away on us all. Marissa had some lovely words to say about the new Kind range and how influential both Cocoa Brown and Penney’s have been for each others success. Cocoa Brown is the number 1 selling tan in Penneys and the long established Irish chain of stores were the exclusive outlet for you to purchase Marissa’s new Rose Gold Golden Goddess oil earlier this month so they make a great fit for one another.

For the event I had a totally different outfit in the bag with me but of course, the plans changed πŸ™ˆ My shirt is from New Look, the black jeans are the Molly jeans from River Island and the boots are new in to Penneys – I literally got them 10 minutes before the event, you’ll of seen that on my Snapchat story 😜 The shirt and boots aren’t up online but I’ll share them on my Facebook page when I spot them πŸ‘ŒπŸΌIMG_2368

I have to thank Marissa, Stephanie and Kate from Cocoa Brown and Triona and her team at Penneys HQ once again for the fantastic morning I had. Absolutely every detail was thought of and everyone was made feel so welcome. It made the trip from Wexford so worthwhile and hopefully we’ll see Team CB down around the South East sometime in the near future. Continued success to Marissa and her fabulous team!! πŸ’–

Cocoa Brown Kind Shampoo and Conditioner 200ml bottles are available in Penneys stores nationwide and from your nearest Cocoa Brown stockists too for just €3.50

So have you got your hands on any of the new Cocoa Brown products yet? I adore the Rose Golden Goddess!! Let me know what you think of them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat!

Love, Denise x
