On Saturday morning I had the pleasure of being invited on board the Xposé Beauty Bus. They’ve teamed up with premium beauty brand Vichy for a whistle stop tour of Ireland. It stops in Galway, Limerick, Wexford, Cork and Dublin and Xposé viewers have the chance to win beauty treatments on it. I was invited to an exclusive bloggers breakfast while it stopped in Wexford Town.
Xposé Beauty Bus
During the morning, seven bloggers from the South East got the first peek inside the bus. The double decker bus is literally a beauty lovers dream! Downstairs there was a make up station, skin diagnosis station and finally a mini-facial station. They were all stocked with Vichy’s gorgeous range of skincare and make up products. The focus of the bus is on health and wellbeing and it is the ultimate in relaxation on wheels!
Upstairs, we were treated to a healthy breakfast from one of my favourite local cafes, Stable Diet. They spoiled us with fruit pots, smoothies and yoghurts which is always a great way to start the day. We had time to chill out, chat and enjoy the views of Wexford town from the top deck.
It was great to catch up with Sarah from Absolutely Gibberish who is a fellow Wexford blogger, and to finally meet some of the Deise bloggers in person. There are so many people that you chat to online but don’t actually meet them for ages, so this was a brilliant opportunity! It was also great to have something different like the Xposé Beauty Bus in Wexford. It was parked on the quay side and everyone that passed by asked about it and peeped out their car windows!
I was quickly interviewed by the lovely Cassie Stokes from Xposé before I left for work. We chatted about all things beauty, obvs 😄😉 Cassie even had a cheeky look at my handbag essentials too! Keep an eye out for it broadcast during Xposé at 8pm on TV3 tonight. (May 22nd 2017) It’s been 5 years since my first interview on Xposé with Lisa Cannon so hopefully I’ve improved with age!!!! 😂😂😂 God, where does the time go?!
What I Wore
I was working straight after the event so I didn’t get too dressed up. However I still wanted to make the most of the gorgeous weather we got that morning! I opted for a crisp white bardot top with these fab fluted sleeves. I paired that with khaki pants and my new favourite embellished block heels!
Top // Penneys // €11.00
Pants // ZARA (last year) // Similar here
Heels // River Island // €87.00
Sunglasses // Aluxe.ie // €15.00
We left the bus with a generous goodie bag, packed with Vichy goodies including their brand new Idéalia Peeling liquid essence, One Step Cleansing Micellar Solution, Slow Age Daily Correcting Care and new Aquaria Thermal Power Serum. Thanks a million to the team at Vichy and Xposé, Cliona and Cassie, and to Sarah from Beauty and the Masseuse for capturing these two fab pics below. Click on them to see all her pics from the Xposé Beauty Bus!
Finally, just a little reminder..
There’s a busy week ahead for me with the Glitz and Glam Masterclass on Thursday evening with Grace Mongey and Dominique Nugent. There are a limited number of tickets available on Eventbrite here and you could be in with the chance of winning a Holy Chic hamper worth over €130 on the night too!!
