Hey girls,

So you’ll remember a while ago that Snapchat was absolutely swamped with people doing the TMI tag which is basically bloggers and other personalities answering 50 questions about themselves. I don’t have a Snapchat account for Holy Chic, (yet!), but instead I’ve wrote this blog post about it as I think the tag is a great way for you to get to know a little bit more about me, especially since Holy Chic has got a lot more followers this week 😄 So, here goes…

1. What are you wearing?

Right now I’m v casual in jeans and a top after college – the image of glamour, I know 🙊😂😂

2. Have you ever been in love?

I have been in the past.

3. Have you ever had a terrible break up?

I don’t think there’s such a thing as a good one, but yes, I’ve been on both sides, doing the breaking up & receiving it 😕

4. How tall are you?

Haha, this is gas because my sister literally just randomly measured my height the other day! I’m 5 foot 7 inches exactly 😜

5. How much do you weigh?

Oh Christ, much more than I’d like to be anyway!!! 🙈😂

6. Any tattoos?

Just the one.

7. Any piercings?

I have my ears pierced and I had my nose pierced when I was about 14, such a phase 🙈😋 Then my principal made me take it out & the hole closed up so that was the end of that ✋🏼

8. otp?

I had to look this one up. It’s One True Pairing but is that like me and somebody or like celebrities?! Anyone know – leave a comment below 😉

9. What is your favorite show?

Hands down ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ (I’m watching it right now tbh) although Greys Anatomy is a close second.

10. Who are your favorite bands?

I don’t really have a favourite band to be honest, apart from being obsessed with S Club 7 when I was younger 🙈😂 No joke, I met Bradley from S Club during WIT Rag Week and I nearly lost my ‘chic’ 😉😂 I’m more into house music and the odd Justin Bieber banger 😉😋

11. Something you miss?

I definitely miss living in Kildare, being closer to my family and late Granny ❤️ And our little dog Patch who passed away recently 🐶😔

12. Favorite song?

This is definitely the hardest question ever – like anything from the 90’s I’ll be obsessed with and belt it out, give me a Spice Girls melody any day 😂😂😂

13. How old are you?

I’m twenty one ✌🏼😚

14. Zodiac sign?

Im a Leo – “confident, ambitious and loyal but stubborn and vain” – okay I’ll agree with that 🙈😂😂

15. Quality you look for in a partner?

Somebody that can make me laugh and isn’t the jealous, overprotective type. Loyalty & not looking like Shrek sort of go without saying  😂

16. What is your favorite quote?

“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.”

17. Who is your favorite actor?

I’m amazed by Gerard Butler after seeing Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen this week! He’s a still a heart throb that overrides his terrible Irish accent in P.S. I Love You, right?!

18. Favorite color?

I’m quite neutral so I love like crisp white, black, shades of grey, beige and hints of rose gold and copper.

19. Loud music or soft?

Loud music, always!

20. Where do you go when you’re sad?

Straight home to my mam, she’s my rock ❤️

21. How long does it take you to shower?

Honestly, about 36 hours!!! The struggle of having long, thick hair is REAL!

22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

Between dressing, painting on a face and breakfast, it’s about an hour. If I’m getting ready for a night out it will take longer obviously 👌🏼

23. Have you ever been in a physical fight?

Apart from me and my sister dragging each other around the house; No, thank God!

24. Turn on’s?

Humour, a little bit of cockiness and the ability to hold a decent conversation.

25. Turn off’s?

Bad teeth and shoes and the inability to string an intelligent sentence together that would have me wondering if there’s just tumbleweed between their ears?!?!

26. The reason I joined WordPress?

Like I’ve mentioned in my very first blog post, Holy Chic is born from my passion for fashion and the fact that I turned 21 in 2015 gave me the kick that I needed to realise I should do the things that I’ve wanted to do, without worrying about what people are going to think or say and a fashion blog was one of those things.

27. What are your fears?

Dying 😳 Like I can’t even talk about it without getting weirded out 😫

28. Last thing that made you cry?

When our family dog Patch died at the end of January. It was unexpected and honestly one of the saddest things I’ve ever experienced. I’m still so shook up over it and even writing this is making me emotional. She was the best little pet, so loving and gentle and I miss her every day – I’d give anything to let her get her white hairs all over my good dark clothes or let her p*ss on my cream carpet again 😁

29. Last time you said you loved someone?

Just a little while ago to my mam 💕

30. Meaning behind your blog name?

Holy Chic is an obvious pun on holy sh*t but with a fashionable twist 😉 I wanted something snappy and memorable and I definitely didn’t want my name involved in it, that’s not my style and Denise doesn’t rhyme with much anyway 😂

31. Last book you read?

You know, I actually can’t remember the last book I read, I’m so bad for reading 🙈 It was either The Secret or So Sue Me’s second book What Happened Next.

32. The book you’re currently reading?

Does Stellar magazine count?!?! 😁

33. Last show you watched?

One of the old Keeping Up with the Kardashians episodes, like before Kim Kardashian met Kris Humphries and she looks UNREAL – the obsession is real 🙈

34. Last person you talked to?

My friends in my college house 💜

35. The relationship between you and the last person you texted?

According to my phone it’s one of my friends from college – coming close to deadline time now so the stress is intense, why do we leave everything to the last minute?! 🙈😂

36. What is your favorite food?

I have a definite sweet tooth, I love chocolate and jellies but I could eat my aunts lasagne dinners every single day for the rest of my life!

37. Place you want to visit?

There are so many places on my bucket list, like New York is number one, then Bora Bora, Dubai, the west coast of America and a couple of places in the UK, like me and one of my girlfriends are dying to plan a weekend to Essex 😂 how sad are we!?

38. Last place you were?

In November I visited one of my best friends that was on Erasmus in Prague. It was stunning and you can read more about it here.

39. Do you have a crush?

Ha NO!! Literally don’t even have the time to have crushes 😷

40. Last time you kissed someone?

That’s for me to know 😏

41. Last time you were insulted?

Oh god only knows what people say but I honestly can’t remember the last time I was insulted to my face 😝 It says more about the person doing the insulting to be honest, I just try to let comments like that fly over my head 👌🏼

42. Favourite flavor of sweet?

Those fizzy strawberry jellies from the Pick’n’Mix are life!!

43. What instruments do you play?

Apart from playing the recorder in school, (c’mon like one of the most annoying instruments ever!!), I played the keyboard when I was younger. Nothing now though, I don’t even have a note in my head!

44. Favourite piece of jewellery?

My Alex and Ani bracelets are all from different friends and family for my 21st birthday mostly & one from Christmas. They’re each so special and thoughtful! I have a diamond pair of earrings too that hold special sentiments for me.

45. Last sport you played?

Zero!! If you ever see me playing a sport, check my temperature to see I’m not coming down with something!! 🙈😂😂

46. Last song you sang?

Rinse & Repeat by Riton is stuck in my head constantly this week 🎶 Listen to it here.

47. Favourite pick up line?

I don’t have a favourite because pick up lines are honestly so cheesy! If a guy can’t just strike up a decent conversation with me without having to use a pick up line, then he’s not floating my boat 👌🏼

48. Have you ever used it?

No, never used a pick up line, I can’t flirt full stop 😂

49. Last time you hung out with anyone?

My house in Waterford is constantly full with people coming & going so there’s always someone to hang out with. we all went to the cinema on Wednesday night which was lovely to do something different instead of going out 📽
