What I Wore: Leather & Lace

Hey dolls,

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend 😄 I was loving all the snaps from Electric Picnic, it looked amazing, rain or no rain!! Obviously I didn’t go this year as I was working and enjoyed a night on the town with my best friends on Saturday instead.IMG_2563

It was great to catch up after the summer & hear what everyone got up to. Some of the gang are just back from their J1’s in America so it was a bit of a reunion too 🍾 We all had a fabulous night!!FullSizeRender 4

It’s always nice to get that extra bit done up for a Saturday night out, there’s something a bit dressier about the occasion I think, but of course I left my outfit to the last minute – what’s new there?! 🙈😂 I put together this outfit just before I ran out the door with bits I had picked up over the last while.

What I Wore

Skirt: River Island

Top: Penneys

Shoes: River Island (Old Stock)

Chokers: Penneys

My leather midi skirt is from River Island. The blush colour is so versatile, you can pair it with pretty pastel colours, neutrals or bold dark colours for the winter. The leather is also extremely soft and the cross over effect on the front means it’s so easy to move about and walk in.

I absolutely love the black slip cami that I teamed with it. I picked this up in Penneys recently and it has a lovely lace trim all around the edge as well as it being backless so it’s a real statement piece. It’s very much inspired by the lingerie as outerwear trend which I love! I was able to dress this top up on Saturday night but you could layer it over a plain white tee and jeans for a casual look.

Accessories-wise I went for an edgy look with these chokers from Penneys – they were a steal at just €3 & if you follow me on Snapchat, you’ll know I’ve been getting loads of wear out of them! My black platform heels were from River Island just over 2 years ago. They’re stunning & so high but by the end of the night, they were OFF!! 😂😂 IMG_2592

My tan is TanOrganic which I have to say I love! I applied it on Friday night and I had a lovely natural glow for work on Saturday. Then before I started getting ready that evening, I applied another layer which had developed to a darker shade by the time I went out.JPEG image-2A0882222FBE-1

I wore the SoSu Lashes for the first time also. I got the 3D Silk Lashes in the style Chloe and oh. my. God, they are truly amazing! As they are double banded, they are supper fluffy and full looking, which I love in lashes – real Kardashian-esque! I expected them to be quite heavy but they’re 100% not, I couldn’t get over how light they were to wear, it didn’t feel like I was wearing false lashes at all. They can be worn up to 20 times if you look after them so I personally think they’re worth it!
