Happy Hallowe’en!

Happy Hallowe’en!

Hi guys,

Happy Hallowe’en!

I hope you’ve all been enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend! I was only commenting on it during the week in work, how the months are flying by and we’re already into the closing months of the year – where did the time go to? With the clocks gone back an hour on Sunday you can see a real change already, the evenings roll in so much earlier now and the autumnal coloured leaves are falling from their branches, the winter is well and truly on it’s way in.

With the change in seasons came a lot of change for me personally too. If you follow my social media pages you may already know that I’ve moved from my job at La Creme Boutique to a new position with New Look in Wexford town. I loved my experience at La Creme and learned so much during my time there and I will really miss working with such a fantastic group of ladies whom I’m grateful to say I’ve got amazing friends in now. But for now, I’m back to the busy high street retail environment just in time for our peak season which I’m really looking forward to!

Another change I had been working on recently is THIS – the brand new Holy Chic!! My blog will turn 1 at the end of November and I honestly can’t believe it 😱 Like I said, this year has just flown by and I’ve achieved so much in just 1 year with regards to my blog. One thing that I really wanted before reaching that milestone was to have a proper website for Holy Chic. I started blogging on a free WordPress site as I didn’t know where my blog was going to go; it could’ve ended up being a flop or too much for me to juggle with work and college so a free site worked best to test the water with. Thankfully I’ve developed such a passion for blogging and I know that Holy Chic is here to stay now 😉 so a dedicated website was the next step. I’m also the type of person that constantly wants to be learning new skills and information so it was my mission to learn how to set up the site myself. It would’ve been so easy to hand the job over to a web developer for example, and just make changes to and okay their drafts but I want to be able to know how to run all aspect of my blog myself. From now on you’ll find my blog at www.holychic.ie and I’ve totally redesigned the layout too. I might do a blog post explaining how I went about it all so if that’s something you would like to read, let me know in the comments below and include any questions you may have 😊Credit: easy.com

With all of that going on, I was looking forward to the Bank Holiday. Although I was working for the most part, my best friends and I went out on Sunday night which was great fun – it’s always a brilliant night with my besties, I’m very lucky with the squad that I have 😉 We dressed up for night as Zombie Psych Patients so there was lots of blood and liquid latex involved – a great idea at the time but taking it off was a site, thank God for the vodka to numb the feeling when we ripped them off of ourselves! 😂😂

Is it just me or is it always so hard to know what to dress up as? It’s only when you’re out and see someone else ideas that you’re like ‘Awh that’s brilliant!!’ 👻 I’ll have to start planning for 2017 now! Let me know what you dressed up as on my Facebook, Twitter or Snapchat or did you do a group outfit with your friends like we did?

I hope you’ve enjoyed the holiday & Happy Hallowe’en!! 😈🕸🎃
