Another week into 2016 already 😁 To cheer up any of you suffering with the January Blues I have a real treat in this post! If, like me, you spend hours online perusing all the beautiful designer wares that we could only dream of owning, then Christian Louboutin’s latest collection will be music to your ears, (or eyes rather).
I’m obsessed with the ‘Who Killed Amazoula?’ campaign that the luxury brand have launched. Reminding us that the Spring Summer 2016 styles feature details so intricate that you’ll need to take a closer look to find the clues, the look book is so chic 😉 How about the Ha Why Luna Python heels? These Hawaiian inspired, open toe heels would are perfect for the summer ahead – wouldn’t you just love the weather to match!! 🌸
In the video clip Amazoula wears these sculptured sandals which I know I will be dreaming about for weeks to come. I adore the leopard print and the pony hair is to die for, absolutely gorgeous 😍 Available to pre-order in the US only, some lucky fashionistas will give them a good home for me I’m sure 😥😥😥
Otoka oozes Summer 2016, embodying two of the seasons key trends – tassels and bright orange. Tassels are continuing on from the fringing trend we saw in the winter gone so don’t recycle any of those pieces just yet. Imagine these suede 120mm heels with a full bodied navy skirt and fitted top, instantly pulling a trendy look together. They would look just as show-stopping with an LBD so you would wear these well into the autumn too!
There’s so much about the Paloma clutch that I love. First of all I think the combination of black, red, gold and leopard accents is a classic one, totally seductive and adds a touch of sex appeal to a look. Secondly, the colour combo means that you can team this with so much; a LBD, a jeans and heels look or a floor length gown and finally you can wear it over the shoulder or as a clutch thanks to the detachable chain strap.
Granted, those investment pieces will set you back a couple of hundred, if not thousand in some cases, euro there are more affordable ways of having a little bit of Louboutin in your life. Having recently expanded into the cosmetics industry, Christian Louboutin’s ranges of nail polishes and lipsticks have been a massive success. For SS16 I think the Miss Loubi shade of nail polish will be a firm favourite. It’s a pinky-coral colour and is described as being bright, bold and vibrant, true to Christian’s personality.
If you’re more of a lipstick lover then Loubeach would be just gorgeous this summer. It’s a peachy hue that glides on, leaving a satin finish. I think it’s a colour that you’d use every summer, a nice change from the darker tones that we sport during the winter.
